Customer Reviews

I purchased this as sort of a starter kit, and while it helps to give you an notion of some valuable points to put together, it really falls short in delivering many of them. What I found was that it had the least expensive attainable versions of almost everything it was supplying. Right after obtaining this and looking what was in it, I pretty considerably began from scratch with a new bag (the one particular that came with the kit has a single stitch that was currently failing when I 1st opened it with a three-inch tear by the zipper).
For ~$40, you get a great starter kit, even though:
Emergency food bars
Water
Emergency Blankets
Rather simple initially aid kit
Light sticks
Dust masks
Nitrile gloves
Whistle
Ponchos
Tissue
My problems are as follows:
The backpack was falling apart from the get-go.
The initially aid kit was as well fundamental to be especially beneficial (it is the type that you could possibly toss in your back pocket for each day carry).
The emergency blankets are fairly normal and low-priced to decide to purchase.
The 12-hour light sticks are conveniently and cheaply upgraded to the 200hr LED glow sticks for $5 per three-pack at Dwelling Depot.
Dust masks can be had at the dollar shop.
Gloves are certainly low cost (the ones that came in my kit were replaced right away as they were just too low cost to rely on).
The whistle is just a whistle.
Ponchos are quite common and cost-effective to acquire.
Tissue could be replaced with a ziplock bag of tissues and be just as useful.
If you're seeking to build a cheap emergency kit, look at the person contents of this and decide what you need to have. If I had been ever to rely on this, I would be a bit afraid. That mentioned, right after shopping for this I had a lot of enjoyable rebuilding it with an "I can get far better" attitude and ended up spending quite a bit alot more shopping for "far better" versions of its contents and filling some gaps. $40 isn't as well negative a cost to get at least element way there, but I cannot see why they even bothered with such a low high quality backpack to hold it all, as I am pretty sure I use higher excellent grocery bags.

This kit has virtually almost everything you will need for an emergency. It is compact, and quick to take with you. I only needed to add an emergency radio, flashlight and some batteries. It is a time saver also. It is less complicated than attempting to collect all the goods that are included in it. A genuine bargain!
