I bought this thing besides all the negative feedback. For 20$ its a lot less than the 120$ driveway alarms. the volume is a non concern If its as well loud, put a piece of tape on it. the false alarms can be 99% eliminated and fix the authentic issue--moisture Put the sensor in a 10$ cedar bird residence This keeps it from obtaining wet and keeps false alarms low. And it hides it from persons that would take and disable it. Small animals and windy days can enhance the false alarms. okay for 20$, plus ten$ for the bird house (from Lowe's) and two cents in tape make a outstanding purchase. The range is not 400ft alot more like 300ft and only 1 door.

UPDATE OF MY Assessment DUE TO JULY 2006 HEAT WAVE: I have two of these low-expense alarms set up, and each grow to be really intermittent when the temperature reaches 90 degrees and above (in the shade): In some cases they go off when a individual/car goes past, and sometimes they do not.
