Pros:

Cons:

Operates as advertised -- loud, as well! Apparently they anticipate you to install the sensor right in the middle of your window if you want to use the low setting, any place else and they recommend you use high. I stuck it in the corner of my window on high, and it's sensitive adequate to go off when we get a close adequate lightning strike, but not so sensitive that it is going off with each and every storm. We've had LOTS of thunderstorms this summer and it only went off as soon as, so I think about that a decent balance between being sensitive sufficient that I'm confident in it without getting annoying from as well a large number of false alarms.
