This looks just like the genuine thing. The sensor that triggers the red light is particularly superior picks items up from very a distance.
I created it look even even more real, by taking the wires out of an old broken (battery operated) toy that my Son had and glueing them under the batteries in the dummy camera exactly where there was a little hole going into the device. I utilized rubber cement (like E6000 that you can uncover in any sewing department). I then produced a small notch in the battery door and strung the wires out of the camera by way of there. I drilled my pilot holes for the screws that the bracket attaches to. I then drilled one other smaller hole in the ceiling subsequent to the pilot holes and below where the bracket for the camera would go. I put glue on the finish of the wires and threaded them into that hole. I then installed the camera and bracket more than that hole I drilled.
This way if a person ever pulls the camera out of the ceiling to see if it really is authentic, they will be pretty sure their photo was taken when they realize they just ripped a bunch of wires out of the ceiling - that were attached to the camera.
I read all the evaluations of this sort of item before buying and decided to try it anyway. Some stated the motion sensor did not work, and that was my initial encounter, but then found it does operate in dim light or the dark, but not in brilliant light. Otherwise, it looks really good and hope it will do its job. I purchased two, fairly inexpensively, but the shipping charge seemed high and turned out to be three instances what the seller in fact spent on shipping. Oh properly.
